Dr. Loh Yong Joo is currently a senior consultant and Head of department in TTSH Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. He is also an adjunct associate professor with NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. His clinical sub-specialty is in neurorehabilitation managing patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions. His research interests are in rehabilitation technologies especially in the areas of virtual reality, wearable sensors, telehealth, serious gaming, robotics and AI/deep learning in rehabilitation. He is currently also the Clinical Director for NHG/LKC Games for Health Innovations Centre (ALIVE), Director for Clinical Innovation in TTSH Clinical Research and Innovation Office, Director of Medical Technologies Adoption Office in Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) and a member of NHG Centre for Medical Technology Innovations.
Dr. Ng Kian Bee holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Queensland Brain Institute, Australia and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree. He also holds an MBA and is an alumnus of INSEAD where he studied Corporate Governance under the International Directors Programme. He was a visiting scholar to Harvard Medical School and was actively involved in the local start-up scenes among other work. His main research interest is in understanding the neural correlates of the brain networks related to human learning and environment. He has over two decades of experience in building digital solutions in healthcare, business and technology. He is currently the Head of Digital Learning @ Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine where he leads and contributes in the areas of digital transformation and deployment of tools and solutions for more effective medical education and training outcome.
Dr. Melvyn Zhang is a Consultant, Psychiatrist at the National Addictions Management Service, Institute of Mental Health. He is also an Assistant Professor with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University Singapore. His research interests are that of addiction psychiatry, E-health and M-Health. He serves on the editorial board of JMIR Mental Health, Technology and Healthcare and the British Journal of Psychiatry. He has widely published and is the main author of the Get Through MRCPsych series by Taylor & Francis/CRC Press.
